UCSF Medical Center Nursing Supervisors Infection Prevention Guidance
For after-hours Infection Prevention support, please follow these guidelines:
HEIP has Infection Prevention Coordinators on call starting 4/26/26. HEIP Infection Prevention on call coverage schedule
If needed, the IPC will escalate to the on call medical director.
For unresolved non-urgent HEIP questions, ask the caller to contact HEIP during regular business hours, which are usually M-F 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM unless it is a holiday. They can also send an email to [email protected] which will be reviewed during business hours.
