FOR ADVICE AND NON-STROKE TRANSFERS

1. CONSULTS/Outpatient Offices  (Between 8am-5pm, non-holiday weekdays)

- Doc of the Day - no longer listed on CareWeb - Now listed on BOX - Pls save this link 2025 2026

- Calls received between 0800-1230 will be returned between 1230-1300

- Calls received after 1230 will be returned between 1630-1700

- Let provider know the call back hours

- Obtain 2 phone numbers as calls may be returned close to 1700

- If the provider is questioning the need for an ED visit or admission, please page the Neuro-hospitalist. 

2. ED & INPATIENT CONSULTS/ADMISSIONS & TRANSFERS (Between 8am-5pm, non-holiday weekdays)

- Voalte the Neurohospitalist Attending: Consult Peds Neuro Attg BCH SF

3. EPILEPSY CONSULTS (Between 8am-5pm, non-holiday weekdays)  

- Page the epilepsy fellow (415-443-6637) or

- Voalte: Consult Peds Neuro (Epilepsy) Fellow BCH SF

- If the epilepsy fellow does not respond within 15 minutes, Voalte the epilepsy attending: Consult Peds Neuro (Epilepsy) Attg BCH SF

4. All calls: EVENING, HOLIDAY & WEEKEND CONSULTS/TRANSFERS 

- Page the neurology fellow (415-443-9204) or

- Voalte: Consult Peds Neuro 1st Call BCH SF
