The Acuity Staffing Tool is used at BCH to determine staffing levels for each unit.
The tool, to be completed 0300-0400 on night shift, and 1500-1600 on day shift, by charge nurses on each unit can be found on the carelinks home page and is linked here.
The BCH Supervisor uses Smartsheet to complete the acuity staffing during bed meeting (linked here), and the smartsheet is used to generate a report which is sent to the Bed and Staffing email group at the end of each shift. The email address of that group is: [email protected]
